Traditional water monitoring technology requires a high human intervention regarding sensor operations and maintenance which normally leads to low quality of data. UNDERSEE developed its own monitoring device and auto-cleaning system that continuously monitors the water without the need for maintenance procedures by the client - we assume that responsibility!

Real-time Alerts

With the UNDERSEE water service, the aquaculture producer can remotely check the most important water parameters that allow monitoring of water quality and control of the appropriate water conditions in aquaculture. Current water parameters are: Temperature, pH, Conductivity, Salinity, ORP, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity and Chlorophyll-a.

Early-warnings

With UNDERSEE service, aquaculture producers can have early warnings of possible water quality changes, for example propagation of algae blooms or severe oxygen depletion events even before they happen. Early warnings allow aquaculture producers to take preventive measures on their productions and reduce the risk of fish losses with a high degree of confidence.

In Coastal areas early-warnings are based on the prognostics of large-scale numerical models relied on satellite imagery post-treatment.

In Transitional waters areas (e.g. fjords, estuaries and rivers), early-warnings are based on the prognostics of state-of-the-art and specially developed forecast down-scaling numerical models of water quality, as a result of years of research & development.
